Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FabFindr, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Platform Description

FabFindr is a marketplace connecting buyers with independent makers who sell fabricated products including 3D printed, CNC machined, laser cut, and metal fabricated items. FabFindr facilitates transactions but does not manufacture or ship products directly.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use FabFindr.

4. Sellers

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, fulfilling orders in a timely manner, and complying with all applicable laws. FabFindr charges an 8% platform fee on each completed transaction. Sellers may not direct buyers to transact outside of the FabFindr platform.

5. Buyers

Buyers agree to pay for products they purchase. All payments are processed through our secure payment system and held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. Buyers should inspect products upon delivery and report any issues within 14 days.

6. Refunds and Returns

Refund and return policies are set and managed by individual sellers. Each seller may have their own policy regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds. Buyers should review the seller's refund policy before making a purchase. FabFindr does not guarantee refunds and is not responsible for enforcing seller return policies. In the event of a dispute, FabFindr may assist in mediating between buyer and seller but the final decision on refunds rests with the seller.

7. Buyer Protection

Payments are held in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery. While refunds are at the seller's discretion, if a product is not delivered or is materially different from the listing, buyers may file a dispute through our support system for review.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not: share contact information through messaging to circumvent FabFindr payments, list counterfeit or illegal products, harass other users, manipulate reviews, or create multiple accounts to abuse promotions.

9. Scam Awareness and Safety

FabFindr takes fraud seriously, but users must also take steps to protect themselves. Be aware of the following:

  • Never transact outside of FabFindr. All payments should go through our platform. If a seller or buyer asks you to pay via Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or any method outside of FabFindr, do not proceed. Our buyer protection only applies to transactions made through the platform.
  • Be cautious of deals that seem too good to be true. Extremely low prices on high-value items may indicate a scam. Verify the seller's profile, reviews, and history before purchasing.
  • Do not share personal information. Never share your password, banking details, social security number, or other sensitive information with another user. FabFindr will never ask for your password via message or email.
  • Watch for phishing attempts. Be wary of emails or messages claiming to be from FabFindr that ask you to click suspicious links or provide login credentials. Always verify you are on fabfindr.com before entering any information.
  • Report suspicious activity. If you encounter a listing, message, or user that seems fraudulent, report it immediately through our support system. We investigate all reports and take action to remove bad actors from the platform.
  • AI-generated and misleading listings are prohibited. All product listings must accurately represent real, physical products that the seller has made or can make. Listings using AI-generated images, stolen photos, or misleading descriptions will be removed and the account may be banned.

FabFindr is not responsible for losses resulting from transactions conducted outside of our platform or from users who disregard these safety guidelines.

10. Intellectual Property

Sellers represent that they have the right to sell the products they list. FabFindr respects intellectual property rights and will remove infringing listings upon proper notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

FabFindr is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of products listed by sellers. We provide the platform as-is and make no warranties regarding the availability or accuracy of the service.
